New Pastoral
The New Pastoral (2021)
Published in the Radical Art Review, Issue #8: Precipice, 2021
A piece of exploratory writing on what I’m calling the “New Pastoral”; pulling from a Romantic expression of the pastoral to provide mirroring evidence of current circumstances, and how I think this might affect us, culturally, in a similar manner.
Ultimately, a “New Pastoral” could be used to express awe in nature with the urgency needed to preserve it.
