Artist from Sheffield based in Glasgow working with video/text/sound/performance/installation/curatorial practice.

Exploring tensions between repulsion/attraction and the public/private; through bodily representations these boundaries are explored as reciprocal relationships between the body, objects, and production. Focusing on the ‘private’ body as symbolic reflection and agitator for the ‘public’ body - the societal and historical corpus - and how these things directly affect each other. This practice is all corroborated through thinking about how culturally and politically loaded notions of repulsion and attraction can be engaged as key cultural icebreakers, gesture-makers, and taboo.
